Alright so here I am back a second time to test another AX product and pretty excited. Last year i tested what is now known as "supersize" and it was a a great run, here is the link to that thread if anyone is interested. http://www.athleticxtreme.com/forum/threads/ax-preworkout-test-log.12793/

Okay so here is what the product is described as...

"This product is for people with nagging injuries caused by tendon, ligament or, cartilage damage. Depending on the severity of the pain, you should start to feel relief almost immediately. Clinical trials on the key ingredients indicate that most people will feel significantly less pain within one week of use."

Some background info on my injuries....

For the past 3-4 months I have had shoulder/rotator cuff pain as well as pain that comes from my wrist all the way to the elbow. Keep in mind this is all on my left arm. I have taken time off before but a couple days after getting back into training it comes back. These days I had just been working out though the pain which is not as bad as it used to be, it has gotten better since I have been doing shoulder/rotator cuff warm ups before every workout with 5lb dumbbells but it is still there which gets very bothersome and affects my upper body training. So with that said I am looking forward to using this product and hope it can produce some relief.

I will update this log everyday with my workouts, experiences etc..

I'm really looking forward to see how you respond. I've been dealing with right ankle, knee, and shoulder issues.

    Good luck!

Today was my first day of using the joint supplement. As the directions said I took one cap in the AM before any meal.

I just got finished working out today and I felt a little less pain than I usually do but I don't want to say that it was the product just yet...only because it was the first day and I believe that after at least one week of use that i will be able to notice a significant difference.

The program i am doing now is called "Power Bodybuilding." Basically it goes like this.

Compound Lift-7 working sets of 4 reps
Accessory Lift- 5 sets of 10
Accessory Lift- 3 sets of 8-10

Today i did chest so here is my workout.

    5min shoulder/rotator cuff warm up w/5lb dumbbells

    Incline Barbell Bench- BARx10, 135x10, 175x6, 185x4........working sets- 205x4, 205x4, 225x4, 225x4, 225x4, 225x4 235x4(spot for last 2 reps) (i take 3-5mins rest in between sets on this exercise so that I am fresh)

    Flat DB Bench- 80x10, 80x10, 90x10, 90x10, 100x8.

    Incline DB Flies- 60x10, 65x10, 70x8.

It may not look like a lot but I am trashed at the end of the workout!

Pain is really there on the heavy incline and flies, not so much on flat db bench though. Like i said before i did notice a little less pain but that may be attributed to other factors since this is just the first day of taking the product.

Okay we were going to keep this under wraps as it's an Alpha test but since the cat is out of the bad, let's do it.

This is a pretty novel joint and pain formula with a lot of clinical data. I am excited to try it myself.

My apologies, in the email and letter I received with the product it said I could do a log on the forum but that it was not mandatory.

Looks like it was a typo. No big deal . Let's do this. Hope it works well for you, just give it honest feedback. That is what matters most.

Second day of using the product. As per directions I took one cap in the AM before any meal.

Today was my back day and my shoulder/arm problems don't really affect this training day so I can't really say whether or not I noticed a difference.

Tomorrow I train delts so if there's any difference by then i will definitely notice since this day i have the most pains and issues.

    Here's today's session....

    Deadlift- 135x10, 225x8, 275x4, 315x4......working sets- 405x4, 405x4, 405x4, 405x4, 415x4, 415x4, 425x4

Standing One Arm Hammer Strength Row- 180x10, 180x10, 180x10, 180x10, 225x10.(this machine is a seated plate loaded row machine but i use it standing to mimic a DB row and my gym only goes to 100's for DBs)

    Wide Grip Lat Pulldown- 200x8, 200x8, 205x8

Totally trashed at the end of this workout, I like this routine I started because I'm making strength gains every week on my lifts.

Any questions or comments feel free to ask!:)

I am hoping to see major differences. If you are unsure, that is a failure. This this if it makes it should bring you from a 0 to 70% level. You should notice it if it is working. I'll keep checking back as it takes a bit to really kick in.

Third day of using the product. 1cap in the AM before any meals.

Well here it was..my shoulder day, which is when my pains are the worst and I am most of the time forced to use less weight simply because the pain is unbearable or for fear of further injury.

I was really skeptical as it is just the 3rd day of use but I have to say I am impressed, the pain is still there somewhat but i noticed a huge difference. Usually I would feel a lot of pain just using warm up weight so when there was no pain during today's warm up I was like alright so far so good lets see what happens when i get to the heavy working sets.

I get the dumbbells up and start to press and there's little to no pain in my left elbow which usually would kill me and i would wear an elbow wrap to help ease the pain. There was still some pain in my left shoulder but not nearly as bad as before. Last week had to have been the worst week for the pains and forced me to use dumbbells 20lbs lighter than i usually use. Today though i was able to go back to the heavier dumbbells with just a little pain. As for the other exercises after my heavy presses i usually had shoulder pain during those sets but today there was very little to no pain. I would say that I am 70-75% better. I say that because although i was able to go heavy again i got less reps than i usually would get with that weight. I'd like to add that i would usually wear my elbow wrap and wrist wraps during presses but today i didn't need them!

    5min shoulder/rotator cuff warm up w/5lb dumbbells

DB Shoulder Press- 30x15, 35x12, 45x10........working sets 85x15, 85x13, 95x12, 100x8 (these heavier weights would usually kill my shoulder and elbow)

    Seated DB Side Raise- 25x15, 35x15x 45x12

    Seated DB Front Raise- 20x15, 30x15, 35x15

    Cable Side Raise- 15x15, 20x12, 20x12

    Incline Rear Delt Flyes- 35x15, 40x15, 45x12

Behind The Neck Pulldown- 85x15 3 sets (use this to finish off rear delts, just lightweight and focus on the squeeze)

Another factor that could have added to me being able to go heavy and dull pain was being angry and just plain mad at the world...one of my good friends was killed this morning in a car accident and today's workout was my way of letting out those feelings/emotions I had about this incident........

Thanks for the kind words guys, I really appreciate it.

Well today DAY 4 of using the product. 1 capsule in the AM before any meals.

Today I trained arms and on this day the pains I have are in my left elbow when I close grip bench, straight bar curl, or do overhead dumbbell triceps extensions, and in my wrists when i straight bar curl.

Well I am truly impressed lol. I honestly didn't expect much out of this type of product or to notice this much of a difference at all, at least not this early in as this is only the 4th day of taking the product. No pain in my elbow during overhead triceps extensions which i had much pain in last week and no pain during my close grip bench press. On the close grips i would usually wear wrist wraps and an elbow wrap but none of those were required today and going full range of motion usually caused a lot of pain but today it caused no pain whatsoever. There was still some pain when i did straight bar curls it starts at my left wrist and travels down the forearm to the elbow but it was not as severe as before which would make me wear the wrist wraps...no wraps needed today for these either though. Really excited for my next chest day with the heavy incline presses, they usually cause a lot of pain so we will see what happens!

    5min shoulder/rotator cuff warm up w/5lb dumbbells

Wrist Curls- 1 warm up set then 3 sets 15-20 reps

    Hammer Curls- 30x15, 50x15, 65x15, 75x15, 80x12

    Tricep Pushdowns with Alternating Grip(4 sets, 20 reps w/underhand grip and 20 reps w/overhand grip)- 40x20, 60x20, 70x20, 70x20

    Seated Overhead DB Triceps Extensions- 70x20, 80x20, 90x15, 100x12

    Close Grip Bench Press- 185x15, 185x15, 185x12, 185x10

    Straight Bar Curls- 75x20, 75x20, 75x15, 75x15

    Incline DB Curls- 20x20, 20x20, 20x15, 15x20

    Preacher Machine Curls- 120x15, 130x15, 140x15, 150x12
