Wrist and elbowing tightening. Not enough focusing on stretching and loosening up of these muscles.
I have the same issues brother, and I rarely do curls anymore because of the pain.
What I have found helpful is to do wrist rotations. The forearms are at work most of the day through various tasks and then we lift. They stay fairly tight and often get neglected unless you play tennis or baseball in which they put a huge focus on stretching the forearm.
Before you hit your triceps or biceps next time, try this first. Grab a 5-10lb db, and keep your elbow at your side and at 90 degrees. Gripping the dumbbell as if it were an egg, slowly rotate the db as far as you can counterclockwise, then clockwise. 15 rotations per hand, for 1-2 sets.
The joint product will also help in this application as well as any tissue damage may be soothed by what's in the product (I don't know the ingredients of this product).

5th day. Just took 1 cap earlier when I woke up this morning.

Later today I'll be training legs and I don't have any problems on this day so there's not really anything to say for today. Saturday and Sunday are my off days from training also, so i will be back on Monday ready for that big chest day.

Here's what I have been doing for legs lately if anyones interested

Squat- 3 warm up sets, 7 working sets of 4 reps, use heavy weight and rest 3-5min between sets to fully recover/catch breath

Leg Press- 5 sets of 10

Leg Extension- 4 sets of 8-10

Have a great weekend everybody, I'll be at the Los Angeles Fitness Expo.;)

What are you doing to hit your hams? The squats and leg press involve a decent bit of hams, if you go low enough.
  7. topdezzy AX Member

Recently i haven't been doing any direct ham work but yes on squats i do go below parallel not fully ass to ground but as low as my flexibility allows...same with leg press i go low enough to where my thighs press against my rib cage.

Hey TopDezzy is back! Awesome to see you're testing one of our products again, just loved your logg on SuperSize :)

Sorry to hear about your friend, some times really fucked up things happen to good people... Like a friend of mine, who recentely lost his father, have been in 2 major car accidents... Don't know if his loss has affected his judgement, but it kinda feels like too many bad things are happening to him at once..

But back to your logg! Good to hear that you're noticing something, even when the pain is the worst.. I find it really hard to judge products like this, since it's so many things affecting the outcome. But keep reporting your expereince with the product.

Great to have you back! ;)

Man where is my bottle. I am ready to start this.

Thanks, I really do appreciate it. Also sorry to hear about your friends loss, these things are really hard to go through. This though has made me extremely motivated with my bodybuilding/goals as my friend was also big into fitness and working out and she would always support my goals and even get me back on track if i was starting to lose any motivation...

Yeah i was surprised at how fast i was able to notice a difference! and its great to be back :D

Today was my 8th day of using the product. 1 cap in the AM.

Still used the product during the weekend but didn't really get much rest as i spent both days walking around the LA fit expo and carrying my heavy ass bags with all the free stuff and samples you get lol which i must say i got a lot! AX needs to go these types of events if they don't already! Maybe ill post some pics when my buddy gets them off his camera.

Alright back on track here....today was chest and the heavy incline always gets me, specifically in my left shoulder and elbow. Well today when i got to my working sets i did experience pain after the 2nd set and i do 7 sets but it definitely wasn't as bad as last week where the pain would begin with just the first warmup set....and the pain was mainly in my left shoulder not so much my elbow anymore. Pain also there with the incline flies but only on the last few reps now as opposed to being there right on the first rep.

    Today's session:

    Incline Barbell Bench- BARx10, 135x10, 175x6, 185x4........working sets- 205x4, 225x4, 225x4, 225x4, 235x4, 235x4 235x4(needed spot to get 4th rep) (i take 3-5mins rest in between sets on this exercise so that I am fresh.)

Flat DB Bench- 80x10, 80x10, 90x10, 95x8, 100x10(did 6 on my own and spotted for the last 4)

    Incline DB Flies- 60x10, 70x9, 70x8

Man about an hour after my workout my shoulder does hurt kind of bad but like i said before walking around all weekend carrying a heavy bag full of stuff probably didn't help lol so i do believe that is a factor.

Any questions, comments...you know what to do.

Day 9 of product use. 1 cap in AM.

Today was my back day and don't notice any problems here so for the sake of the log its just another day.

Tomorrows shoulders..where the most pains are so i will notice if it has gotten better since last week!
  13. admin Mega Admin

So being one week in, what would you say about it so far?
  14. Eizbear Not just a Moderator...

sounds strange to say it... But we're looking forward to see how your shoulder workout goes, aka pain day!

DAY 10 of product use. 1 cap in the AM.

Did shoulders today(Wednesday) which as said before gave me the most pain. Really funny thing about today I totally forgot about any of my pains and issues during the workout, well i wouldn't necessarily say i forgot about them but it was as if they weren't there....when i got home from the gym and thought about my workout i was like "wow really i didn't even notice any pains/issues?!" Pretty much no pains at all anymore...maybe a little tiny bit but i would say i am at about at a 90% pain free level now for shoulder day which was always the worst day.

Like i said on Monday when i did chest i still had pain on the heavy incline bench so we will just have to wait till next Monday to see if its any better and with the way things have been going with this product for me i would say its very possible that i will have much less pain.

    the workout

    5min shoulder/rotator cuff warm up w/5lb dumbbells

Standing Barbell Military Press- 3 warm up sets.....135x5, 155x5, 165x5, 170x5, 170x5(last two sets used some leg drive to get last reps out)

    Seated DB Press- 60x15, 70x12, 80x12, 80x10

    Rope Cable Face Pulls- 75x10, 75x10, 85x10, 85x10

    Standing Side Lateral Dumbbell Raises- 30x15, 40x12, 40x12, 40x12

As you can see this workout is a lot different than last weeks but i am gradually switching to a more powerlifting type routine so that is why. The two first exercises though were the ones that would usually cause much pain but today pain was virtually non existent.

To finally answer your question Admin, i would say i love this product already. I honestly thought it would do nothing and that i would still be having pain. Still some pain but it has been dramatically reduced. As i said before i feel like i am at 90% now. I would say to anyone else testing the product that in my experience/opinion you will feel better within a few days but wait until a week or so after use and you will notice a big change. Still 20 days to go and it's only gonna get better! :D

OH and i just remembered something that i believe is very important. Before i was chosen to do testing one of the reasons i gave to them for me to be picked is that my pain/issues caused me to have to do half reps on a lot of upper body pressing movements but now just this week on monday i am able to go full ROM with just a little bit of pain, so another week or so and i am sure it will be even better.

    Any questions, comments...!
  16. Eizbear Not just a Moderator...

That's actually a pretty amazing results you got there, bro! Glad to hear you doing full ROMs again!
Really wanna try this out right now, since my left shoulder have been bugging me for some time now... I always notice is when doing overhead presses (barbell), and benchbress (barbell), but nothing when doing dumbbells..
  17. topdezzy AX Member

Thanks! And i'd just like to add that these are my results/experiences, i understand not everyone may get the same results that i am getting.

I only get pains from using dumbbells when i do shoulder press and incline flies. I think what really tweaked my shoulder many months ago was kicking up the heavier dumbbells on that first rep of seated shoulder press and one time i did it wrong so my shoulder/arm kind of went backwards and just gave out.

We are seeing really good results coming in from this product. I just wanted to double check with you. I think we have a real winner here.
  19. topdezzy AX Member

Yes usually with this type of product its hit or miss and this has been hit hit hit! :D

DAY 11. 1 cap in AM

Today was arms and before i started i did what Bnatural said to do with the dumbbells for wrist and elbow tightening and whatta ya know it really did help....had little to no pain at the wrist to elbow.

Arm day usually gave me elbow and shoulder pain on close grip bench press and with straight bar curls or skullcrushers. I experienced a tiny bit of pain at the beginning of my workout but it was all gone pretty much after i was warmed up. Best thing is being able to finally use more weight without any pains. I see great gains in the near future. :)

    Any questions, comments...
