Now don't be to hard on me. I read that using deodorant can be bad for a person for some reason. I have also read that pheromones only turn off people who are incompatible to your personality type, men and women. If I switch to all natural deodorant it might not work so well. Would using this help my own pheromone production and keep be from being to stinky if natural deodorant isn't strong enough?

What have your read about deodorant being bad for a person?

AXcite does not improve your own pheromone production, but rather releases additional pheromones. Your pheromone production occurs when DHT breaks down into smaller steroidal molecule, which can diffuse through your pores and into the air.

One of the pheromones your body produces is 17-androstenone, which has been shown to have a pronounced effect on making your body odors more pronounced to those around you b increasing their sensitivity to scents. Depending on how you play your cards, (or how you smell) this can work in or against your favor. Sexual differentiation in sensitivity to male body... [Int J Cosmet Sci. 2005] - PubMed result

Personally, I would recommend sticking with a good antiperspirant. They reduce how much you sweat in the underarms, which is gross either way. Typically, most deodorants just mask the smell, which doesn't always solve the problem, depending on how badly your sweat produces body odors. I personally hate it when I wear deodorant, and start to sweat and am taken by the strong smell of deodorant + Body Odor vapors resonating from.... me!

I think I know what he is talking about. There is rumors that deodorant can give a person heavy metal poisoning or other poisonings from the chemicals. Don't believe it man, stick to a good antiperspirant. If that were true think of the millions of people who use deodorants. I think it would be more than a rumor if it were true.

hahhaha, i would still rather stick with the heavy metal posioning, if it were true, rather then a sweaty, sloppy man... I know I wouldnt be with the girl I am today if I were sweaty hahaha :)

Its the aluminum and a connection to Alzheimer's. A build up in aluminum correlated in people with Alzheimer's more than those without. Add that to the fact that Alzheimer's is increasing and some people don't want to take the chance. I had a gf that was adamant about this. Used natural deodorant only.

Wow and how did she smell? I noticed you used past tense with "had". Was it the deodorant thing that pushed you apart? :D (Joshing in good fun. ;) )

Natural deodorants are ok, you just have to put them on more often than the antiperspirants. I switched a while back, myself, because I don't like how sticky the antiperspirants are - they're hard to wash off even with soap. Seems like the buildup of that stuff CAN'T be good for you! But as long as I shower regularly and reapply the deodorant 2-3 times a day, it does fine.

Naww, she actually did what PaulHarvey did. She carried a little stick of it around with here and reapplied a few times a day. She didn't shave anything either so just goes to show what regular baths can do. But she is a "was". ;)

There's a lot that can be said for regular bathing no matter what type of deodorant or antiperspirant a person uses.
