I hope all that are submitting pics on the 26th are doing well and putting them selves through hell right now.

All the best and I can't wait to add to the great group of transformations we've already had.

EDIT Forget all that....I was just informed it ended on the 24th. Congrats to all still....you made it. From a starting group of over 20, only a few stayed with it. Well done!

hahahaha oooooooo. I think the 26th was the revised date for pic submission then (Previously 30th?)

Wonder when accouncements will be made.

Anyway, I am very happy with what I acheived. Here are a few things I learnt.

    - I increased the intensity (much shorter rest periods between sets). It kicked my ass but I felt it a whole lot more in the muscles.

    - I employed a variation of extreme stretching at the end of each session. It freakin hurt but was beneficial. I feel that the weighted hang to stretch the lats was one of the main reasons I saw such gains in them

    - Listening to the "Ricky Gervais Show" podcast and/or various audio books on my ipod made boring cardio sessions go a lot faster.

I am not sure what I would do differently next time. I was happy with what I acheived. Maybe try a different split in training and possibly increase the intensity even more.

    Alright, I'll bite...

Throughout this trial of madness, I can honestly say that I enjoyed myself very much. Strength remained about the same throughout, but my endurance increased greatly.

I enjoyed seeing a better peak in my biceps, as well as a bit of extra width in my back.

Though I didn't drop much of the gut, definition came out a bunch in other areas - seeing things that I've not seen before!

The competition itself was more for fun than anything else. I loved how most everyone came together to push further and further. It was great support, despite sounding like a bitch fest.

Thanks all. It was a great experience, and I await the outcome. I'm sure the winner will be deserving, but so are the rest of us. Kudos to all who stuck with it. And poo for those that didn't.

Everyone who made it all the way and saw a difference, no matter how big or small has gained something from this comp.
