Bulk. Slice Vanilla Ice. Vanilla or Banana Whey. Peanuts or Cashews, both if you want. Tbs. of Vanilla & Banana yogurt. Skim Milk, after desire. I just go out, look what I have and then start blending, sometimes it ends up good, other times not to good..

4 scoops Nutribiotics Vegan Vanilla Rice Protein 2 Teaspoons of Xylitol (or to taste/tolerance) 2 cups chilled Trader Joe's Soy Essentials (Has Omega 3's added to it) Thats my recipe.
Usually when I think of a protein shake I think of how gross it will taste, but what you are all posting actually sounds really delicious! I may have to try some of the ones I've never heard of before.
I have a secret ingredient no matter what's the flavor of my whey protein - cinnamon! It's the spice in my shakes!
Ok I have to ask= I see some people putting whey protein powder in with their oats, what flavor and kind are you using? I use Body Fortress Whey Protein that I buy from Wal-Mart for about $15 for 2lbs @ 52grams per shake.I have tried adding Strawberry,Chocolate,Cookies-N-Cream, and today Vanilla and so far none of them has tasted good at all. Even cinnamon did not help
well I've tried that cooking and not cooking the oats. Not cookie the oats is much better. I just make it into a cold shake, the blender makes into a nice thick slushy mess. Filling tasty and fast. I've done it with Caramel-chocolate, chocolate and Vanilla. This was a breakfast for me often enough even when I wasn't working out. With the Vanilla I've only ever added some oats, because it tastes so awesome with some milk, nutmeg, cinammon. I've also added a tiny bit of powdered clove or some allspice. Once I had a pumpkin pie spice blend and I just sprinkled some of that in with the milk and protein, tasted christmassy. Mmmmm.
I'll be posting some receipes here soon... We have a big ass compition here in Sweden, about posting best picture and recipe ... So you can expect some pictures and recipes... Not all of em will taste good, but maybe it can help inspire you all
i used to mix up some pretty good concoctions with my shakes... these days, i just find a protein powder i like, mix er' up, and slam it down. game over. some good looking recipes being posted though.....
i was thinking on it and there are a whole bunch of things u can use to tweak the flavors that don't add hardly calories or carbs. The Extracts, like Vanilla, Almond, Orange, Coconut. All sorts of spices, cardamom maybe? I'm thinking almond extract with a few almonds atually thrown in the mixer will taste like wedding cake. Could U make a coolada with some vanilla protein, coconut milk and a dash of pineapple juice? hmmmm. Or a "GingerBread" shake with ginger, cinammon and walnuts? hmmmmm I think I'm gonna open up my kitchen lab and do some experiments, LOL my poor Husband/guinea pig.
This was sent to me by some one else the other day. I have not had a chance to try it but it does sound good. Banana Nut Bread Protein Shake Ingredients • 2-4 scoops vanilla protein powder • 1â„4 tsp almond extract • 1 tbsp almond butter • 1 tbsp ground chia seed powder • 1 banana • Cinnamon to taste • 16-24 oz of water or vanilla flavored almond, hemp, or rice milk (depending on your caloric needs) • As much ice as desired
I'm way too simple. 4-6 fl. oz. Pineapple Orange Juice + 4-6 fl. oz. Skim Milk + 1 Scoop of Vanilla Whey Protein Powder.
I buy EAS Whey Protein from Sam's Club. I usually use vanilla. Cook the oatmeal first. Make it a little more soupy than you would prefer, as the protein will thicken it up. Add 1 scoop of protein per 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of oats (measured dry). Mix the protein in, until homogeneous. Add stuff in there. I like adding fruit (i.e. peaches, strawberries, raspberries) or nuts (i.e. almonds, peanuts, walnuts). Peanuts aren't actually a nut, but for this purpose, we will pretend they are.
Found a new one (new to me): Orange Cream 2 Scoops Vanilla Whey Protein Mix 1 tsp Pure Orange Extract 25 oz Milk I tried this one for breakfast this morning,Very Yummmy!
