Question about amount of water

Ive a pretty overweight (high fat percentage) guy at 235 pounds at 5 feet 11 inches. I decided to take some lean fx and changed my daily food completely. (I used to take stimulant-x, but found that it makes me dizzy and nauseous at times)

Since I cannot exercise as much, I decided to at least count my daily calorie. Since a week ago, I have averaged around 2200 to 2400 calorie a day which is probably at least 1000 calorie difference before I started, maybe even more.

Limiting my food, I found that I can easily get hungry so I decided to drink fairly large amount of water. I am drinking around 130 ounces to 150 ounces throughout the day. Just to test, I did not go to the gym this past week, and I actually found myself dropping in daily weight. (242 when I started a week ago).

Ive read from a ton of different sources regarding how much water to drink a day. According to the sticky thread, it says 80 ounces per day minimum. Is it still safe to drink the amount I am drinking? Could I drink even more water if I wanted (throughout day, not at once).

130-150 fluid ounces is about a gallon (128 fl oz.). That's a fine amount to take in.

When you start drinking several gallons throughout the day is when it gets bad.
