Really good BodyBlog, D. I have to admit, scanning through this roundtable and reading all of the information provided by yourself and Dr. D really made me cheer. I'm a year away from completing my Master's degree in I/O Psychology (yes, I'm one of those "social" science people ), but I heartily agree with you and Dr. D on the point that a) use research to make an informed decision and B) that you have to look at research in a critical way to get good information. There's a lot of junk science out there, and you have to pay attention. "Correlation does not equal causation"... man has that mantra been stuffed down my throat since sophomore year in my undergrad... Awesome info from two clearly top-notch professionals. Thanks for the insight!
Amen my friend! Repetition is needed and a clear and just perspective as well. Psych is great too! I've been torn between psych and metaphysics my whole life. Both fascinating fields.
Thanks for all the information on this subject. I appreciate Brentd research on the subject. Obviously a guy that knows his subject.
