Got a little arm day in yesterday. Intensity would have been cranked up a bit more if it weren't for the two hotties who asked me to take their picture together when i got to the gym. Grrrrr..... How dare they distract me with their sexiness when I'm trying to... wait... Eh, screw it. They were pretty hot. :)

Taking a month off... not a good idea. This sucked today!!! Between the time off, a new schedule at the new house, not having my meal timing down quite yet, and a cold coming on, it was just aweful. I felt like I was working at half strength and about 20% stamina. It's good that I went in to get it going again, but damn... I have work to do.

I have your Back Tim. I feel your pain when it comes to getting back to the gym I have been out for over five months due to an injury.. This is my come back year and going to work a hard as I have to.. With the meals I know what you are saying Bro, Myself I have to work on them to make them better.. try doing a log for the food but didn't go so well for me. I know I eat well and eat what I should but logging can be so time consuming.. Might have to suck it up and do it anyways.. Like your Log Bro keep up the great work you will be back at the same point you were before in no time..

A wee late on the update, but eh... Site was down. ;)

    Monday - Chesticles!!

    DB Bench
    Warm-up: 60 x 15
    Workin: 100x6, 100x6

    Bar for repz
    100, 70 (fried)

Rope Tricep PDs Fer The Burnout
    80x12, 70x8 (fried)

    Cable Crossovers
42.5 x 10 - 3 sets (42.5 is the stack, or both stacks, or whatever. 42.5 on each arm, dammit! lol)

    Fr. Delt Plate Raises
    1 wheel x 12 - 3 sets

For being off for about 6 weeks, I thought this one went pretty dang well! I had a wee bit of motivation going, and tried to just get in there and do whatever I felt that I could. I was a bit disappointed at the low reps on the C-note bench. On the first set, the left dummmm hit the dang bench post and I lost momentum. On the second set... just felt a bit doomed. HOWEVER... the "feel" of those sets was quite intense. I REALLY felt the pec muscles working on those, which isn't something that I always get. Definitely good for me!

I have a bit of a fire under my arse as of late. I failed miserably at my weightloss goals at the end of last year, gaining weight when I shouldn't have. I'm back up to about 320, which is sucky, but I'll get there. It just means more work for now. I'm going to be putting in a tad more cardio as well, which is to say, I'll be doing a little bit of cardio seeing as I don't do any anyway. :) Since my feet are dreadfully flat, I've decided to visit a podiatrist and see about getting some insoles or something to help. I can suction cup on bare floor with my socks on...that bad.

    Current/Upcoming stackage:
SlimFX - 2 as soon as I wake up and get my arse downstairs.
    LeanFX - 1am, 1 pre-, 1 dinner or 1 am, 1 nooner, 1 dinner
    HardFX - 2 am, 2 pre-, 2 pre-bed
    PES AlphaT2 - 1 am, 1 nooner

And of course, my pre-w/o cocktails:
45 minutes pre: 3 scoops SuperSize, 1 scoop Ultra Reps
Intra: 1 scoop SS, 1 scoop UR, 2-3 scoops AXcell

I'm trying! I actually have decent width, but could use some thickness. Problem, atleast visually, for me is that I have that damn gut! Get rid of that and I'd definitely be "larger". Right now, the fatloss is still the primary concern and the primary goal. Diet is/has changed to work on that, and not just for me but my whole household.

A little personal story for y'all....

A few months ago, I went to the doc. Normal stuff, normal check-up. He said I was "too healthy". No, just kidding, but I'm fine. Did some bloodwork and my sugar level came back as slightly elevated. Slightly... but enough to through the D word out there since it's in my family history. No meds or anything, but doc said that I knew what I was doing, my goal was weightloss, and that would be enough to get it back down to a good level. I started good, dropped the ball at the end of the year, and am getting my butt back on track for good this time.

Not just me, either, but Izzie, my 3 yr old daughter. She went in to the doc's on Friday because we started noticing a few things. She drinks a LOT. (I do, too, so maybe it's just a Dull thing...) She is also pretty sugar sensitive, even for a kid. She craves sweets, and wants to snack quite a bit. Her moods can shift wildly from one extreme to another. Yeah, sounds a bit normal for a 3 yr old, but it was a bit more than that. Her breath, at times, would smell sweet. So, we went in to talk to the doc...textbook clinical signs of juvi D. This past Saturday, babygirl had bloodwork done and urine. My wife got a call yesterday at work from the doc's office... She's fine. (Insert sigh of relief here) Whew!!

Still, we talked with Izz before the appointment last week. She's smart, and that's not just her ol' man bragging. Kid has my brain. (I feel sorry for her!!!) We talked about candy hurting your body, and candy equals sugar, which can be very bad for not just your teeth, but the rest of you. She understood, or enough so that she now says "Candy is sugar, and sugar is bad". She hasn't asked for candy since then, maybe once or twice, but knows that she isn't going to get it and that she can't have it whenever she wants. Changes are made in my house for the betterment of all of us. No candy. No sugary cereals. Whole grains across the board... stuff we should all be doing anyway. It's just nice to know that she's fine, I'm on my way to being just fine, and we're all taking steps this year to get on the right track as a family.

I like it alot!!!! Glad you are all ok son!!!! I as well went to the DR. Had a physical and bloodwork done!!! I have a thyroid issue not major, so amd taking some herbs to fix as well as diet change a little!!! But on to the other problem, My Test levels are super low, so he put me on a treatment plan so we will see how that goes!!!

Bad news though about the Arnold, not going to make it this year, that is about the time the granddaughter is due, and hate to get up there and have to speed home to be there to see it born!!! So this year the Arnold is out sorry my friend would have been great to have gotten to meet everyone, but as for next year it is on!!!!
  17. TiM Prob'ly Bigger than You Admin

No worries, Trey! I won't be making it either. Financially, it's going to be tough to justify it right now. Last year was a bit rough, what with having the Saab blow up so much, then getting demolished, and then moving last month to a new house (which should actually be saving us money now!). That, and I have an annual weekend bike trip with the crew that I'm going to go on. Momma will only allow so much leash room!! lol Next year, man... Next year...
