when figuring out your protein for the day, do most of you count all proteins. Or do you just count the actuall sources? Ex eggs chicken beef fish protein powders etc. so do you leave out the carbs that have protein. Thanks ax team

I would weight sources of complete proteins over incomplete sources.

In general your carb sources aren't going to contain all that much protein anyhow. So long as the protein in your diet comes from primarily complete protein sources. The only time this should really be an issue is if you are practicing a vegetarian diet.

I count WHOLE grains and I count beans/legumes etc etc.

e.g. A cup of oats has 10 grams of protein in it. I consider that substantial. If you have 5 cups per day, then it's 200 calories in protein. That's substantial to me.

I wouldn't stress over it much either way. Just eat your food!
